Giancarlo Esposito Joins Radio Silence's Secret Monster Movie At Universal


Giancarlo Esposito has joined the cast of in Radio Silence's untitled monster thriller at Universal. He joins Melissa Barrera, Alisha Weir, Dan Stevens, Kevin Durand, Kathryn Newton, Angus Cloud and Will Catlett.

Radio Silence's Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett will helm the project, with Scream producer Chad Villella serving as producer alongside William Sherak, Paul Neinstein and James Vanderbilt at Project X Entertainment. The script was written by Stephen Shields, with revisions by Guy Busick.

The film is set to bow April 19, 2024. Plot details are being kept under wraps.

Netflix's 'The Night Agent' Drops Season 2 Premiere Date & Action Packed Teaser

Gabriel Basso will return as Peter Sutherland in Netflix's The Night Agent for Season 2 on January 23. The 10 new episodes were shot primarily in New York City with additional filming done in Thailand and Washington D.C. Watch the teaser above.

By the time Season 2 premieres, fans will have been waiting nearly two years for new episodes. However, they can rejoice that the Sony Pictures Television series— created, showrun and executive produced by Shawn Ryan— was renewed for a third season early last month. As Deadline previously reported, shooting is set to begin on Season 3 in Istanbul at the end of this year followed by a New York shoot in 2025.

 Eiza González  is set to star opposite John Krasinski and Natalie Portman in Apple's Fountain of Youth, a feature film based on an original idea that will be directed by Guy Ritchie and hails from Skydance Media. Also starring John Krasinski, Domhnall Gleeson and Natalie Portman, the film will be produced for Apple by Skydance, Vinson Films and Project X Entertainment.

Written by James Vanderbilt, the pic follows estranged siblings (Krasinski and Portman) who partner on a global heist to find the mythological Fountain of Youth. They must use their knowledge of history to follow clues on an epic adventure that will change their lives — and possibly lead to immortality.
